  • ABOUT

    • ARTIST AGENCY

      • MDAC is prototyping a new model of agency working with world renown artists outside the classic gallery paradigm. We represent artists to realise complex, hybrid projects which many galleries are not equipped or prepared to undertake. Breaking down boundaries between art forms and industries, MDAC’s projects often involve advanced technologies and are collaborations with key partners in adjacent fields such as film, gaming, blockchain, fashion, and the performing arts. MDAC augments existing gallery representation to develop emerging and future forms of making and presenting work.

    • COLLECTION ADVISORY

      • With a particular speciality in moving image – film, video, simulation and digital art – MDAC advises new and seasoned collectors interested in these media.

    • INSTITUTIONAL and PHILANTHROPIC ADVISORY

      • MDAC provides strategic advice to private foundations and individuals on cultural philanthropy, working as an intermediary with some of the most renowned institutions in the world. MDAC brings decades of experience in helping these institutions develop funding strategies for everything from major capital projects to commissions and acquisitions.

    • MARTINE D’ANGLEJAN CHATILLON

      • Martine d’Anglejan-Chatillon has worked internationally with renowned artists and institutions for over thirty years.

She helped to pioneer new models of private and corporate philanthropy in the UK at the National Gallery and Whitechapel Gallery, London; and managed major cultural projects under the umbrella of the Rothschild Foundation. In 2004, d’Anglejan-Chatillon co-founded Thomas Dane Gallery, London, where she managed the careers of artists including: Steve McQueen, John Gerrard, Jean Luc Moulene, Akram Zaatari, and Lynda Benglis. In 2016, she was appointed Executive Producer of DAU, one of the most ambitious undertakings in the history of cinema. She currently serves on the board of Somerset House Trust, London.

d’Anglejan-Chatillon founded MDAC in 2019 as an agency anticipating fundamental changes in artist representation as well as in the production, collecting and showing of works of art.
